Missions

Central to our mission is the Lordship of Jesus. There are many different religions, philosophies, and beliefs in the world but none of them can do what Jesus does. We respect other faiths and see many good teachings in them. We recognize we have some things in common with them but Jesus, the son of God, is the center of our teaching and mission. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Every single human being on the planet needs Him. Through Jesus, men and women will know the love and forgiveness of God. Our goal is to take the good news of Jesus to the entire world and overcome every cultural, religious and philosophical barrier with the help and guidance of the Spirit.

Our Purpose is to help send faithful Christians, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to proclaim in word and deed the saviorhood and sovereignty of Jesus Christ in order to make disciples of Jesus who in turn continue to proclaim the gospel. Our approach to the mission field should be the establishment of local indigenous churches that continue long into the future and transform the targeted nation in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Minter’s Mission Committee is currently chaired by Randy Deming. Currently we support (or assist in supporting) The Slavic World for Christ, Sherry and Yancy Fariss in Guinea, Chad and Sarah Lukkason in Chile, one of our members in China, and Matthew and Janille Stephens in Ireland. In addition, we assist many members to travel all over the world for specific mission efforts.
